Use this guide when someone asks where to find a major Domino feature on the website.

Navigation

On phones, the labeled bottom tabs open Home, My Dominos, Create, Friends, and You. Inside a conversation, use the back arrow to return to Home. The tab bar is hidden to leave room for the conversation and keyboard.

On tablets and desktops, the same destinations appear in the left rail. Wide screens also show recent conversations; the clock or All conversations opens history. SMS and API conversations are labeled and read-only on the web. New conversation starts a fresh request.

Open You on a phone or your avatar in the rail for Profile, Agent Access, Log Out, and any available admin tools.

Primary areas

Home and conversations

Home (/feed) combines asking and browsing. Use Search or ask Domino… at the top on desktop or above the phone tabs. Typing two or more characters shows instant saved matches grouped as Places, Plans, Ideas, Events and Ideas Lists, with Search in scope chips. Ask Domino is highlighted by default. Arrow keys or hovering change the highlight; Enter performs the highlighted action. Clicking a match opens it without starting an assistant turn.

On phones the bar opens full-screen search, with Ask pinned above the input. Person and neighborhood starters fill a draft; they do not send it. When existing saved data is available, starters can name a saved person, an owned draft or a neighborhood from saved ideas. A Continue [plan name] starter opens that existing draft. Static starters remain as fallbacks. Planning starters appear only where the existing assistant planning capability is available.

Asking starts a new assistant conversation when the account is eligible, or uses existing Discovery otherwise. In a conversation, New conversation starts fresh and Back to Home returns to browsing. History opens in place on Home and in conversations, preserving unfinished text. Recent conversations appear in the wide desktop rail; the clock opens history on phones and narrower rails. History is available only to accounts with assistant access.

A New results link on Home, a dot beside a recent conversation, or New in history means completed web results have not yet been seen. The marker clears after the result is visible in the conversation. Opening history alone does not clear it. These markers refresh when returning to the app or opening history; they are not push notifications.

Conversation cards use the same Like and Invite controls as Home. Invite opens the existing details and review flow; it does not send immediately or create a like. Read-only suggestions have no Invite action. The information button opens a recommendation’s evidence and unknowns.

Below the ask bar:

For you opens the system recommendation view.
Named pills open the user's saved Ideas Lists; New list starts the existing creation flow.
Who stays beside Filters, which controls Where, What, When and existing Custom guidance.
Liked first is inside Filters on phones and beside Filters on larger screens.
A selected list has its own context row with Share and More actions. More keeps Rename, Share, Save as new copy when changed, and Delete with an in-app confirmation.
Save to Ideas remains available for supported filters and Discovery results.

My Dominos

My Dominos is the plan library. Use it to return to drafts, plans, and invitations rather than to liked ideas. A dot on its navigation item means new invitation replies on Plans you host. New reply appears on the corresponding card or Plan and clears after that content is visible.

Friends

The Friends area separates Connected friends from private Friends in Mind. Users can add, rename, or delete a Friend in Mind and use Connect to create a QR, Messages action, or copyable mutual-connection link. Read Manage Friends, Friends in Mind, and connection links.

Profile

Profile includes account settings and Availability, where the user can connect or manage Google Calendar and compatible Apple, Microsoft, or other calendar links. Use Connect Google, Apple, Microsoft, or another calendar for provider-specific instructions.

Create

Create lets a user choose Invite to choose details, review, and send an invitation, or Create idea to save something for later. Save draft is an optional action inside the invitation flow; it does not contact anyone. The idea path accepts text, public links, and supported screenshots, plus optional Who it’s for and Ideas list context. Read Save a link, screenshot, place, event, or note.

Agent Access

Agent Access creates and revokes static bearer tokens for compatible MCP and API clients and manages claude.ai OAuth connections. It is not required when ChatGPT or Claude is only reading public documentation.

Ask about an idea or list

Open a card's Details, then Ask about this. The question sheet names the selected item; type your question and use Send message. Opening or closing the sheet does not send anything. The selected object stays attached to the new conversation, including when its name changes.

For a list, select it on Home and choose Ask about this list beside its name. The same action appears on a saved list's page; saved ideas also have Ask about this on their own detail page. A list's explicitly saved members are distinct from the recommendations suggested while browsing it. Ask actions appear only when the account has assistant access. If an item was deleted or its access changed, choose another available item.

Invite remains the separate choose-details → review → send flow. Opening a question never saves, edits or invites on its own. A read-only suggestion without a saved Domino object cannot be attached through this action.

Find previous conversations

On the mobile website, open Home and tap the clock button labeled Conversation history at the top right. Inside an assistant conversation, the same clock button appears in the header. It opens the history drawer; choose a conversation to reopen it. Closing the drawer preserves unfinished text in the current search or composer.

On wide desktop screens, choose a recent conversation in the left rail or All conversations for the drawer. History is shown only when the account has assistant access. An empty list means no conversations were returned; a loading or failed request does not establish an empty history. SMS and API conversations are labeled Read-only here; continue them in their original channel.

My Dominos contains saved work, not the assistant conversation archive. For a question about past web chats on a phone, use the clock button above, not the phone's Messages app. Messages is only for the separate SMS conversation.

Common routing mistakes

If the user wants something they hearted, start on Home and use Liked first. Do not send them to My Dominos by default.
If the user wants a saved or upcoming plan, use My Dominos.
If the user wants a reusable set of recommendation defaults, they want an Ideas List.
If the user wants to invite people, they need a plan or invitation flow, not merely list sharing.
If the user wants to give friends a copy of recommendations, use Share an Ideas List.
If the user wants to add a private relationship placeholder or create a connection link, use Friends.
If the user wants to create or remove an agent credential, use Agent Access.

Answering a “where is…” question

Give the shortest route:

Name the primary navigation destination.
Name the visible control.
State what the user should see after selecting it.

Example:

Open Home, select the Ideas List you want, then use Share in the selected list’s context row. Domino will open a Share sheet where you can choose the audience type and create a link.

LLM answering guidance

Do not expose internal route names or the internal Feed model.
Use the current visible labels exactly, including For you, Home, My Dominos, Liked first, Share, and More actions.
If the user describes a different visible label, acknowledge that their deployed UI may differ and route from the screen they actually see.
