# Like and find saved ideas

Likes live in **My Dominos → Likes**. An idea is saved once and can have several intentions: for Todd, for Jimmy independently, and for Todd + Jimmy together. Lists are browsing views; changing their filters does not change existing likes or audiences. Plans and invitations remain separate commitments.

## Heart and Who’s it for?

The main heart answers whether you have liked the idea for this view’s people. It fills coral when **one** saved audience contains everyone selected. A Kristy + Mom audience fills it on Kristy’s view as well as their joint view. Separate likes for Kristy and Mom do not fill the joint view’s heart. With no people selected, any save fills it.

Tap an outline main heart to add the selected audience, preserving your other audiences. On For you or a theme view, it saves with no one in mind. Tap a filled main heart to open **Who’s it for?** This is also how you change or remove a like on For you.

The small heart beside the line has a different job: it records your existing save. It is coral filled when that save covers the selected people, grey filled when saved for yourself or another audience, and coral outlined when a relevant friend likes it for you but you have not saved it. With no save or relevant incoming interest, there is no line.

The line reports matches first (**You and Kristy both like this**), then a friend’s interest (**Kristy likes this for you**), then your own audience. It names relevant people and counts omitted unique people. A complete joint audience uses **Kristy + Mom**; separate audiences use **Kristy and Mom**. Unrelated audiences on a people view read **You like this for someone else** or **You like this for 4 others**, with full names in details and the editor.

On a single-person view, a private save reads **Liked · Like with Kristy**. Elsewhere it reads **Liked · No one in mind**. **Like with Kristy** adds only Kristy, preserving other audiences. On a person view it appears when the idea is saved or liked for you by that person and you have not yet liked it for them. On For you and group views, it names the first unmatched friend in the incoming sentence. A match sentence has no link.

Tap the line to open **Who’s it for?**, even on an unsaved friend’s card. You can also use **For…** in My Dominos, long-press a main heart on phone, or right-click it on desktop. Opening and closing the editor changes nothing. Lines wrap instead of truncating. Main hearts are action buttons with status/action labels; the decorative inline heart is hidden from assistive technology.

- Each checked person row is a one-on-one intention. A checked combination is a joint intention.
- **People together…** adds a joint row without replacing existing rows.
- Suggested people start unchecked and never authorize sharing.
- No checked rows means no one in mind. **Done** applies your choices; closing the sheet cancels them.
- Unchecking a row removes that exact intention. **Remove from likes** removes your saved like and all its intentions, while preserving underlying created content, plans and invitations.
- The toast offers a brief **Undo** when the earlier state can still be restored safely. It does not overwrite later changes or undo a disconnection.

## Who can see a like?

Connected friends automatically see ideas explicitly liked for them, including retained earlier likes. A person who is not connected is a Friend in Mind: intentions for them stay owner-only. Changing browsing filters or inviting someone to a plan does not add them to a like’s audience.

A connection link can have an optional preview of up to three eligible card faces visible to anyone with that link. The sender reviews that preview and can turn it off. Notes, capture material and co-member names are excluded. Full reads still require current authorization.

## Incoming and mutual interest

A friend’s visible interest can appear on cards, in idea details under **Who likes this**, and in My Dominos. **Like with Ryan** explicitly adds a Ryan intention while preserving other intentions.

A Just you like never completes a match. Neither does a like only for Mom. A match requires current, visible interest in each other; joint context does not mean everyone in that group agrees. Withdrawing the relevant interest or disconnecting removes the mutual indicator.

## Find and manage saved ideas

My Dominos includes your saves and authorized incoming likes, including when you have no saves of your own. Counts count ideas once. People scopes retain their context. Use **Manage created ideas** for retained editing access, including created content you later remove from Likes.

## Home and saved views

Home’s **Likes** row opens the same idea details as My Dominos. Matches come first, then friends’ visible likes, then your own. For you includes incoming likes and matches; people views include your relevant likes and those friends’ likes for you. Theme and filtered views keep their matching scope. **See all** keeps the same people and filters and offers a link back.

Pill faces represent people who actually like the idea. Your face joins friends only for a current mutual match; a private overlap never looks like a match. Open the idea for **Who likes this** and **Invite**. A single matched friend is prefilled in the editable invitation; other intended companions are not added automatically.

Use **Filters** to browse and the active list’s chevron to edit its name, open filters, invite friends or delete the view. Choosing one person opens their stable person view; existing differently named views remain available. On filtered For you, **Save as list** starts with the current filters. A changed saved view shows **Save**, with Update and Save as a new list choices. These actions do not change like audiences.

On phone, search and active filter chips sit above the existing navigation. Search includes Recent and All conversations. Conversation results replace the browse cards; the dock shows the latest message and the existing reply composer. Return to the list to resume browsing.

## LLM answering guidance

Use the current like state and authorized interest projection, not a source list, computed card companions or an old cached match. Liking never sends an invitation or a message. Check returned capabilities/current UI before describing a rollout-only control. Older copy-based lists remain editable; they do not establish a new live audience.

## Older hand-picked selections

Older lists with selected ideas remain available under **Saved selections** in My Dominos and from their original Home view’s menu. You can rename a selection, change its selected ideas, and edit your created ideas. Archived items remain identified. Editing a selection does not change likes or who can see them. Deleting the Home view keeps the preserved selection and your ideas.

Home lists are saved views: their filters and directions determine what appears. An idea’s old list attachment does not bypass a filter. Discovery’s **Save as view** saves the search’s filters and directions; use hearts to keep individual ideas in Likes. Reopening a view can show different matching results.
